Sunlit Solar Presentation
Presentation on renewable energy opportunities by Sunlit Solar. October 2nd. Priddy Village Hall. 7pm.
Published: 30 August 2024
October 2 @ 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
The Environmental Working Group of Priddy Parish Council is interested in providing cheaper, sustainable power to parishioners to do our bit to reduce global warming and encouraging biodiversity in our beautiful location.
We are looking at renewable energy possibilities and solar PV is a strong candidate. With support from our active neighbours ‘Green Wedmore’, we have negotiated a link with an established highly competent local supplier and installer of domestic and other solar systems (Sunlit Solar), who is willing to offer a discount on installations arising from this initiative. They have already installed 80 roofs under the Green Wedmore scheme.
With a view to progressing this opportunity, we propose to hold a public meeting in Priddy Village Hall, where the installers will be happy to participate in a ‘Question and Answer’ session as a means of presenting and informing us in response to our particular interests, be they
- self- generated electrical power,
- battery storage,
- home electric vehicle charging,
- help with payments
Please send your questions to ccclimateaction@gmail.com and/or ask them at the meeting. Please do come along if you can. In the meantime, you can learn more by contacting https://sunlit-solar.co.uk where you can find an enquiry form.
There will be a chance to speak with Sunlit Solar over tea/ coffee after the meeting.
We will be distributing a leaflet soon providing additional information.
Please note the date of this meeting – 2nd October 2024, 7.00pm at Priddy Village Hall
