Parish Council

Introduction of the Parish Council

The Priddy Parish Council formed in 1970 from the Parish Committee.

The council is made up of seven members who are elected or co-opted to form a council, which is supported by a part-time clerk.

Parish Councils are a form of local government that seeks to understand and represent the interests of members of their community, for Priddy that is those who live or work within the Priddy Parish boundaries.

Priddy Parish Council operates in areas that directly affect our community from consulting on local planning to creating and preserving green spaces and representing the views of our constituents to local authorities.
