VACANCY FOR A COUNCILLOR

Due to the resignation of Councillor Dyke, there is a vacancy for a Parish Councillor.
Unless ten electors within the Parish give notice within 14 working days* from the notice date requesting that an election be held, the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
The requests can be made by writing to the Chief Executive, Electoral Services, Somerset Council, County Hall, The Crescent, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 4DY.
They can also be made via email: Elections@somerset.gov.uk
The requests do not have to arrive at the same time.
* These are full working days which do not include weekends or bank holidays

Priddy is an English civil parish within the unitary authority of Somerset

Priddy is a beautiful village in Somerset, England. It is located in the Mendip Hills National Landscape, a few miles northwest of Wells. The village includes numerous sites of interest, such as the village Greens with the characteristic hurdle stack, St Lawrence church, Priddy caves, Priddy pools and Priddy mineries. Numerous walking paths are available throughout the Parish to discover some of those sites. Car parking is available next to the village hall and school, and on the gravel areas on the lower green.
